Q. Who travels in the wedding cars
Normally the Bride and the person giving her away travel in one car and the Bridesmaids travel in a second car. After the wedding ceremony, we take the Bride and Groom and the Attendants to the photo venue and from there to the reception. If your wedding party consists of more than 6 people you would need to look at having a third car which could be available after the ceremony only.

Q. How does the Groom get to the Ceremony
Usually the Groom, Best Man and Groomsmen travel to the ceremony in a private car.  Provided the pickup points are not too far apart, we can use one of the Bridal cars to provide this service prior to picking up the Bridal Party but you would need to allow at least an extra 30 minutes or more for this to happen.

Q. How long will we need the wedding car(s) for
Most weddings take about 3 hours which allows us time to collect the Bridal Party and transfer them to the Ceremony and from there to the photo venue and afterwards to the Reception. If you should require our services for longer than this, then any extra time would be charged to you at $55 per car for each extra half hour period. We always allow extra time between bookings in case a delay occurs.

Q. When does the hire time start and end
The hire time starts from when we arrive at the first pickup address and ends when we drop off at the Reception venue. Staggered times for extra cars can be organised at the time of booking.

Q. Are the cars decorated
Yes. This is part of our service. Each car will have traditional white satin ribbons on the front. We also supply umbrellas in each car in case of rain.

Q. Do you do weekday weddings
Yes, we are available to do weddings on any weekday. You will also find it easier to hire venues for  weekday weddings.

Q. Can children travel in the cars
Yes, we do carry children in the cars but they must supervised by a responsible adult. You will need to supply an approved safety seat which can only be buckled into the left front passenger seat.

Q. What areas of Auckland  do you cover
The area of Auckland that we cover extends from Pukekohe in the South to Whangaparoa in the North. We have also done weddings on Waiheke Island.

Q. Do you do weddings outside of Auckland
We are happy to quote for weddings in an area as far North as Whangarei and as far South as Hamilton.

Q. If we hire your wedding cars can we use private cars as well
You are free to use any private cars or other Wedding Company Cars for your wedding when you book our vehicles.. We will use our best endeavours to make sure the day runs smoothly but we can not accept responsibility for any issues outside of our own control.

Q. What if we have to cancel our booking.

Q. How far in advance should we make a booking
It would be wise to book your wedding cars as soon as you have secured your ceremony and reception venues. Weekends in February and March can get very busy so the earlier you can secure a booking the better your chance of success will be. We often receive bookings for these periods from 6 to 12 months in advance.

Q. Do you do late transfers after the reception has ended
Yes. We can arrange late transfers for you. The costs for this service can be found on our Rates page.

Q. Are your cars available for special occasions such as wedding anniversaries ,birthdays and other celebrations
We have supplied cars on numerous occasions for functions such as listed. Tell us what you need and when and we will make all the arrangements for you and offer helpful suggestions as well.

Q. Who drive the cars
When you hire any of our cars, the owners of the company will be your Licensed Chauffeurs so you can be assured of our friendly and professional service at all times. We take great pride in our vehicles which are all restored classics from the 1960's.
